Boston Schools' Volleyball Tournament March 2016

Boston Schools' Volleyball Tournament.

This year's Volleyball Tournament took place at Giles Academy, Old Leake on Thursday 24th March. Nine schools entered both an A and a B team, each made up of 4 players. For the first part of the morning Giles students coached all the players in the art of playing volleyball. How to serve, how to dig and how to score.  Then the schools were split into 2 groups for a Round Robin.

Group 1 saw Kirton, Gosberton, Hawthorn Tree and Staniland all play each other. In Group 2, Butterwick, Wrangle, Stickney, Swineshead and Tower Road all played against each other.

After this, the semi-finals saw the teams reorganised. Tower Road A played Gosberton A and Tower Road B played Gosberton B! Both won their games.

In the finals, Tower Road A played Kirton A and Tower Road B played Hawthorn Tree B. After an exciting final, Tower Road B won! While Tower Road A lost to Kirton.
