Our Values
At Tower Road Academy, we have six values which are embedded in our school culture and curriculum. It is our aim to guide pupils to become caring, respectful young people in the community, confident to express their ideas and opinions.
Being a Good Role Model: A good example to other children of how to behave, how to work with others, and how to play safely and fairly.
Being Kind: Caring for others, especially when they are upset or hurt, caring for the school and school property, and caring for the place we live.
Being a Good Citizen in the Community: Helping others, especially those who find things difficult, accepting that others are different to us, and being part of our local and global community.
Achieving Your Best: Trying our hardest all of the time so that we learn as much as we can.
Being Healthy: Looking after our bodies, our minds, and our relationships being active, and having a positive attitude to life.
Having Good Manners: Saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’, using people’s names, and speaking politely to everyone.
