The story so far…
Friends of Tower Road Academy is a Parent Teacher Association and was formed in November 2015. The main purpose of our PTA is to advance pupil education by bringing parents, carers, guardians, teachers, school staff and the local community together to raise money and support the school.
Our driving force is to support the school in providing an engaging and enjoyable learning experience for all children. To do this, the committee meet regularly to plan fundraising events and activities such as Summer fayres, Christmas fayres, cakes sales, non-uniform days, school discos and competitions.
So far FoTRA have raised funds to support school projects such as the installation of the outdoor musical instructions, the pebble stream in the outdoor classroom as well as many purchasing many additional classroom resources. We have also been fortunate enough to be able to purchase the Year 6 leavers’ hoodies and contribute towards their end of term celebrations.
However, to continue to do this we need your support!
